Hey, do you want to learn some cool things about Inuit?

Inuit have lived in the Arctic regions for thousands of years! They traveled between Greenland, Canada, Alaska and Chukotka (Russia).

Inuit are distinctive group of Indigenous Peoples in Canada and are different from our First Nations and Metis relatives. Distinctive means that we have different cultures, traditions, language and we also come from different places

  • In Canada, there are four Inuit regions: Nunatsiavut in Northern Labrador, Nunavik in Northern Quebec, Nunavut, and Inuvialuit in Northwest Territories.
  • In Nunavut, there are three regions known as: Kitikmeot (western Nunavut), Kivalliq (central Nunavut), and Qikiqtani (eastern Nunavut)

I put together some more fun things to help you learn about Inuit! Just click on the buttons below and it will take you to some fun facts and even some colouring pages!
